Here are the facts you will learn about Allosaurus: It was a 25 to 30 feet long dinosaur that weighed from 4,000 to 6,000 pounds. It lived in the North American plains and was a meat eater. It had a massive head with bony ridges over its eyes. Its teeth were serrated and from two to four inches long. It walked on two legs and had very short but very strong arms. Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and several Western states had fossil discoveries of Allosaurus.
